The 12th Figurativas International Contest Award Ceremony took place the 6th of October, 2023, in the beautiful Gomis Palace in Barcelona, the MEAM Museum itself.
A great event for any realist painter from around the world.
I recommend to any art loving enthusiat to take a look at it and enjoy the current show and the permanent collection. It is one of the best contemporary figurative art collection that can be seen.
The Figurativas winners and Selected artists will be exhibited in the magnificent palace till 14th of January, 2024. Do not miss it.
I had the honor of being chosen to be part of this exclusive event with a painting titled «Oceanid Con-vocation ( Sea Witch III)», 63’7x35In_Oil on linen and Gold Leaf.
El 12º Concurso Internacional de Arte Figurativo ‘Figurativas’ celebró el 6 de Octubre, 2023, su inauguración y entrega de premios.
El evento tuvo lugar en el bellisimo palacio Gomis, situado en centro historico medieval de la ciudad de Barcelona, la sede misma del Museo MEAM. Un espacio inmejorable para una selección increible de contemporáneo arte realista, figurativo e hiperrealista.
Los galardonados y los artistas selectos para el evento estarán expuestos hasta el 14 de Enero de 2024. Un amante de este tipo de arte representativo no puede perderse un paseo por los pasillos de este gran lugar.
Tengo el honor de participar en este selecto evento con un cuadro titulado «Con-vocación Oceánide ( Sea Witch III)», 162x 89cm_Oleo sobre lino y Pan de Oro.

Un sincero adiós a Jose Manuel Infiesta
El mismo dia de la celebración de la ceremonia oficial de premios del 15º Certamen Internacional del Salón ARC, en el Museo MEAM ( Barcelona) junto a su 11º Certamen Internacional Fgurativas , me enteraba de la muerte del Fundador, Director del Museo MEAM y Creador del concurso Internacional de Arte «Figurativas». Sin duda es un momento triste e inesperado.
Quería dejar testimonio de lo mucho que su dedicación ha significado para el panorama internacional de la pintura y la escultura figurativa ( realista o representativa). Su trabajo ha creado un movimiento, un punto de encuentro y un estímulo para todo artista plástico en la actualidad. Y no siendo esto ya suficiente, nos ha dejado un Museo espléndido, un lugar de referencia desde el que poder disfrutar de su legado y ver crecer el interés y el disfrute por el arte figurativo.
Personalmente le agradezco todo su apoyo y el haber respaldado mi trabajo cuando hubiese sido necesario. Enormemente agradecido, mi aprecio es eterno.
